India’s nuclear programme has made rapid strides in the last two years, assured Union Minister of State Dr Jitendra Singh at the “Hall of Nuclear Power” set up by Department of Atomic Energy in New Delhi.
Possibilities being explored to set up more nuclear installations in other Northern States including Punjab and Uttarakhand, he said, pointing to one being set up North of Delhi at Gorakhpur in Haryana state two years ago.
