Perishable cargo centre
The Cabinet has approved leasing of 4,050 sq m of Airports Authority of India land for building Centre for Perishable Cargo at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International (LGBI) Airport in Guwahati.
The lease was given to Assam Industrial Development Corporation, a state government unit, for setting up the centre and future expansion of LGBI airport.
The Centre will boost the North Eastern Region’s exports of agriculture and horticulture products. fii—news.com
