India is talent hub for global organizations, says Arora
The New York-headquartered Vertex Group said its recent acquisition of Singapore’s T-Ventures will increase the role of Indian teams based in Gurgaon, Mumbai and Bangalore as it expands across Asia and continue growing its network in North America and Europe.
“We see India not just as our talent hub, but as a talent and opportunity hub for organisations across the world, and this acquisition strengthens that role,” Vertex Founder & President, Gagan Arora said on 24 Aug.
For the India-based teams of 2,500 employees, the benefit is greater exposure to international projects and higher-value enterprise engagements. As the combined business grows across Asia following the T-Venture acquisition, India’s role as the group’s capability engine only deepens, he said. “Every new market we enter creates new opportunities for talent in India, and that is exactly the flywheel Vertex 2.0 is designed to build,” he underlined.
As consulting becomes part of the group through T-Ventures, the connection works in both directions. T-Ventures brings established consulting relationships in Singapore and international markets while Vertex brings a wider ecosystem of technology, analytics, AI, and enterprise solutions, much of it powered by capabilities built in India.
“This means consulting engagements won in Singapore and across Asia can expand into technology, analytics, and other complementary services, opening the door to skill exchanges and cross-selling across our verticals between India and our international markets,” Arora elaborated.
T-Ventures has taken Vertex to Singapore, the eighth operating market. This acquisition adds consulting as the group’s ninth business vertical.
T-Ventures, its full team, and its leadership become part of the Vertex family, and its clients across North America, Europe, and Asia will now have access to the group’s wider capabilities in analytics, AI and data technology, customer experience, and enterprise services. Fiinews.com
