8,000+ deals generated during 4-day show
Business transactions worth over Rs.400 crore were done during the Bharat Buildcon 2026, India’s premier exhibition for the building materials, construction and infrastructure sectors, held in New Delhi.
The four-day event generated more than 8,000 high-potential business leads, many of which are expected to translate into substantial commercial partnerships in the coming months, Bharat Buildcon said on 22 June.
It brought together manufacturers, exporters, architects, builders, developers, contractors, distributors, retailers and global buyers under one roof, and created a unique marketplace that connected Indian businesses with domestic and international opportunities. The event showcased India’s manufacturing capabilities across ceramics, sanitaryware, tiles, natural stone, laminates, paints, hardware, construction materials and allied sectors.
A major highlight of this edition was the strong international participation, which provided Indian companies—particularly MSMEs and emerging manufacturers—with direct access to global markets. The expo enabled Indian brands to engage with buyers, distributors and sourcing partners from multiple countries, helping them explore export opportunities and strengthen their international footprint.
Speaking on the success of the event, Vishal Acharya, Director, Bharat Buildcon, said, “The success of Bharat Buildcon 2026 goes far beyond the business generated during the exhibition. One of the most significant achievements of this edition was bringing together industry leaders, government departments and global buyers on a single platform.
“The active participation of key institutions and departments such as the Central Public Works Department (CPWD), Government e-Marketplace (GeM), Department of Commerce, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, and various MSME stakeholders created meaningful opportunities for collaboration, knowledge exchange and business growth. Through a series of interactions and discussions, Indian manufacturers gained valuable insights into government procurement programmes, export promotion initiatives, quality standards and market access opportunities. The strong presence of international buyers and delegates further reinforced the growing global acceptance of Make in India products.
“Bharat Buildcon has showcased how industry-government collaboration can help Indian manufacturers scale globally, strengthen exports and contribute to India’s vision of becoming a leading manufacturing and export hub for the world.”
Sharing his views, Jitendra Kathiriya, Director, Bharat Buildcon, said, “The response from participants across India has been phenomenal. Companies from more than 100 cities participated and utilized this platform to connect with global buyers and business partners. Bharat Buildcon has successfully provided national players with an international platform, enabling them to showcase their products, expand their networks and secure meaningful business opportunities during the four-day event.”
Highlighting the industry’s growth prospects, Nilesh Jetpariya, Chairman, CAPEXIL, said, “In today’s competitive global marketplace, industry requires strong business platforms that can connect manufacturers directly with buyers. Generating business worth more than ₹400 crore in just four days is a remarkable achievement. Events like Bharat Buildcon help Indian industries expand globally, enhance exports, strengthen brand visibility and unlock maximum business potential for manufacturers across sectors.”
Commenting on the overall success and future roadmap, Vijay Aghara, Director, Bharat Buildcon, said, “The response received from exhibitors, buyers and visitors has exceeded expectations. While the event has already facilitated substantial business transactions, more than 8,000 qualified leads generated during the exhibition are expected to convert into significant business opportunities in the future. We are committed to making the next edition even bigger, introducing new initiatives, expanding international participation and creating greater value for the entire industry ecosystem.”
Bharat Buildcon 2026 underscored the growing importance of integrated trade exhibitions in accelerating industrial growth, promoting exports and strengthening India’s position in global supply chains. By bringing together stakeholders from across the value chain on a single platform, the exhibition has demonstrated how collaborative industry initiatives can drive economic growth, facilitate innovation and create new business opportunities.
