The industry shipped $44.44bn worth of products in 2021-22, says Minister Jardosh
The Government targets to achieve US$100 billion export for textile products by 2030, Rajya Sabha was informed on 23 Dec 2022.
The Government has taken cognizance of the potential for boosting exports of Indian textiles in view of a large global market, said Minister of State for Textiles Darshana Jardosh in a written reply to a question in Rajya Sabha.
Exports of textiles & apparel including handicrafts have increased to US$44.44 billion in 2021-22 from US$37.55 billion in 2017-18. fiinews.com
