Tenders: 24 entities approved for Cold Chain infrastructure scheme

Grants-in-aid is released to approved projects on fulfilling milestones, says Patel

Approvals have been given to 24 entities that had responded to Expression of Interest (EoI) for participation in the “Integrated Cold Chain & Value Addition Infrastructure” scheme, Minister of State for Food Processing Industries Prahlad Singh Patel said in a written reply in Rajya Sabha on 9 Dec 2022.

Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) had received 72 applications as of 21 June 2022. Of these 53 applications were eligible.

Approval to eligible proposals is accorded based on merit of the individual proposal as well as funds available under the scheme.

Grants-in-aid is released to such approved projects on fulfilling the milestones prescribed under the guidelines, he said. fiinews.com
