Pramanik sees an upsurge in spending on cloud services across the globe
Mumbai-headquartered Applied Cloud Computing (ACC), an emerging leader in the cloud technology space, is expanding its global footprint with the launch a centre in London for catering to cloud computing and digital services customers in the UK and the European markets.
Speaking on the launch of the operations in London, a fourth centre after the UAE, Indonesia and Estonia, ACC Senior Vice President Shubho Pramanik said, “There is an upsurge in spending on cloud services since the onset of the pandemic across industries, globally.
“The United Kingdom being one of the world’s largest economies provides access to a large market for cloud services and is home to a world-class workforce in addition to a sound regulatory and legislative environment.
“It was our obvious choice to have our presence here.
“We look forward to serving the market in the region and strengthening our presence in the western market,” he said on 14 July 2022.
The company’s press release cited Precedence Research report saying that the global services market is expected to record a 17.32% CAGR between 2022-30. It was estimated at US$387.15 billion in 2021 and is projected to surpass US$1,630 billion by 2030.
ACC also has developed several products to its credit. These include Ottohm – Enterprise Video and OTT Platform, Atlas API – API Management and Development Platform, Atlas CLM – Cloud Life Cycle Management, Atlas HCM – HR Digital Onboarding and Employee Management, Atlas ITSM – Vendor Onboarding and Service Management and Smart Contracts – Contract Automation and Management.
