Chandela calls for direct flights between Jaipur and Austria for tourism
The Austrian Trade Commissioner & Commercial Counsellor Hans-Joerg Hoertnagl says his country can collaborate and provide technological support to various sectors in India such as Solid Waste Management, Plastic Recycling, Railway Infrastructure, Metal & Steel Industry, Renewable Energy, Water Treatment and Machine Manufacturing.
Hoertnagl highlighted the sectors during a visit to PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry on 12 Nov 2021 and discussed various avenues and opportunities for mutual cooperation between India and Austria.
Industry representatives participating in the discussions requested Hoertnagl to organize a separate program on this in due course.
Kuldeep Singh Chandela, a senior member of PHDCCI-Rajasthan and President of Federation of Hospitality and Tourism of Rajasthan, noted that tourism remains an important sector in Austria and Rajasthan.
This sector, he said, has tremendous potential to grow further provided direct flights are operated between Jaipur and Austria.
The Bureau of Investment Promotion has also extended invitation to Hoertnagl to attend the forthcoming Invest Rajasthan in January 2022. #investment #economy #exports /fiinews.com
