DPR on 21 NH under various stages
Thirteen 328-km road projects, costing Rs.8,957 crore, are to be awarded in Telangana while three 192-km projects, worth Rs.2,339 crore, are underbidding, Road Transport and Highway Minister Nitin Gadkari said during the virtual inauguration and foundation stone laying of 14 NH projects in the state on 21 Dec 2020.
Another 21 National Highway works are under various stages of DPR preparation. The 1,442-km road projects, costing Rs.27,116 crore, are likely to be completed by FY 2024-25.
Gadkari inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 14 NH projects worth over Rs.13,000 crore in Telangana, assuring that the state’s districts would be connected to National Highways soon. The projects include 765.663-km roads worth Rs.13,169 crore.
He said, almost all 33 districts in the State today have connectivity with National Highways.
