Varma updates Modig on steel demand in India
Minister of State for Steel, Bhupathiraju Srinivas Varma, has explore collaboration opportunities in the field of Research and Development in Green Steel Production and other advanced technologies to reduce carbon emissions with Sweden’s State Secretary to Minister for Energy, Business and Industry, Sara Modig in New Delhi on 31 Oct.
Varma also highlighted India’s growing steel sector, with a target of achieving 300 million tonnes of crude steel production capacity by 2030.
