Mittelstand companies keen to expand existing investments
Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal has discussed enhancing cooperation in trade, investment, technology, green energy and skilling with German Federal Minister of Economy and Energy Katherina Reiche in Berlin on 23 Oct.
The Ministerial meeting follows their video conference on 7 August 2025, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry said.
Goyal, who visited Berlin 23-24 Oct, has also discussed ways to further deepen the bilateral economic relationship with Dr Levin Holle, Economic and Financial Policy Advisor at the Federal Chancellery and Germany’s G7 & G20 Sherpa http://indien.ahk.de.
He explored synergies and stronger business-to-business linkages, especially in areas of innovation, sustainability, and advanced manufacturing during a Roundtable with CEOs and leaders of German Mittelstand companies.
