Navi Mumbai’s RRP Electronics Ltd has signed 4 strategic Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) at Semicon India 2025 conference held 2-4 Sept in New Delhi, marking a significant step towards strengthening India’s domestic semiconductor ecosystem while positioning the country as a trusted global hub.
The first MoU, underscoring RRP’s expertise and pioneering role as Maharashtra’s first OSAT (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test) company, was signed with the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR). The collaboration involves the HGCAL project related to the upgrade of the CMS experiment at CERN, Geneva. The third MoU was inked with the Rajarambapu Institute of Technology (RIT ), Sangli (Maharashtra) to foster talent and skill development for the semiconductor industry.
