Detail discussion held on MUTP Phase-IIIA
Twenty-eight issues across 23 significant projects, with a collective value exceeding Rs.74,052 crore, were reviewed by a high-level meeting of the Project Monitoring Group (PMG) on 14 Aug 2025 as part of the progress assessment of mega infrastructure projects in Maharashtra.
The projects span critical infrastructure sectors, with a predominant focus on the railway sector, which plays a pivotal role in improving connectivity and supporting economic growth in the State, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry said on 18 Aug.
The World Bank-funded Mumbai Urban Transport Project (MUTP) Phase-IIIA, with an investment of Rs.33,690 crore, was discussed in detail.
