PM notes industrialization of Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi called on citizens living in the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu to adopt the determination demonstrated by Singaporeans who had participated in the transformation of the Southeast Asian city from a fishing village into a global financial hub over six decades.

Addressing the gathering on 7 Mar in the UT, the Prime Minister shared an example of Singapore, which, in its early days, was a small fishing village. “The transformation of Singapore happened due to the strong willpower of its people https://www.sgx.com/.”

The Prime Minister encouraged the citizens of the Union Territory to adopt a similar resolve for development, assuring them that he would stand by them, but they too must take the initiative to move forward https://www.nseindia.com/.

He launched various development works worth over Rs.2,580 crore and inaugurated the Namo Hospital in Silvassa, the headquarters of the Dadra and Nagar Haveli district in western India https://www.bseindia.com/.

Over the past few years, several kilometers of new roads have been constructed, with over 500 kilometers of road work currently underway, involving investments worth thousands of crores.

“The region is also benefiting from the UDAN scheme, and the local airport is being upgraded to enhance connectivity. The government is committed to ensuring comprehensive development and improving infrastructure in the region,” PM Modi shared http://deutsche-boerse.com.
