Report says liquidity continues to be a challenge
Plate prices in India has improved by US$8/MT while billet prices improved by a marginal US$2/MT the weekend 3 Feb 2024.
Other product prices remained unchanged as demand continues to be low, according to a Wirana Shipping Corp report.
The steel market is not expected to improve soon as liquidity issues continue to be a challenge.
Sentiment remains weak among ship recyclers which means weak scrap prices.
