Exports have now become a national priority, says FIEO Chief
Exports, with achievement of US$767 billion goods and services amidst global headwinds during 2022-23, accounted for roughly 40% of the additional GDP in the fiscal year, says FIEO President Dr A Sakthivel.
Such spectacular feat has been possible due to the enabling and supportive eco system created by all the concerned ministries and departments, he said in welcoming the latest milestones achieved by exporters.
FIEO Chief is confident of achieving the exports target of US$2 trillion by 2030.
Dr Sakthivel reiterated that exports have now become a national priority, which has helped in providing further momentum to the sector. fiinews.com
