NTPC to supply 400 MW of power to HPCL
NTPC Green Energy Ltd and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) have taken a first step to collaborate and cooperate in the development of Renewable Energy projects to meet the refiner’s Clean Energy Commitments.
NTPC Green Energy Ltd (NGEL) and HPCL have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 3 Jan 2023 for development of RE-based power projects to tap business opportunities and supply of 400 MW round the clock renewable power for the refiner’s requirements.
The MoU was signed by Neeraj Sharma, Head of Finance, NGEL, and Shuvendu Gupta, Executive Director – BioFuels & Renewables, HPCL, the Power Ministry said. fiinews.com
