Jal Shakti Ministry’s enterprise working in 51+ countries
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has ranked WAPCOS as Top amongst Consulting Services Firm in Water and other Infrastructure Sectors, with highest sanctioned financed amount and handling projects in more than 51 countries covering Asia, Africa, CIS, Pacific Islands and South America.
In addition to being ranked in ADB’s Annual Procurement report, the Ministry of Jal Shakti enterprise was featured amongst the Top 3 Consultants from India in the multi-lateral financing bank’s report on its Members’ Fact Sheet – 2022.
The report noted that WAPCOS was involved in Consulting Services Contracts under ADB Loan, Grant and Technical Assistance Projects in Energy, Transport and Water & other Urban Infrastructure Sectors.
WAPCOS is the only Indian Public Sector featuring in the two categories, the Ministry said on 28 Dec 2022, adding that WAPCOS has handled ADB-linked international projects in addition to working in India.
