Patel updates parliament on India-GCC trade
Bilateral trade between India and the GCC increased by 40.53% to US$111.71 billion for the period April-Oct 2022 from US$79.49 billion during same period in FY 2021-22, Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Anupriya Patel told parliament on 21 Dec 2022.
Total bilateral trade in FY 2021-22 was US$154.66 billion, a hefty increase of 77.06% on a year-on-year basis from FY 2020-21’s US$87.35 billion.
The India-GCC bilateral trade between India grew grown by 10.57% on a compounded annual growth rate basis from FY 2017-18 to FY 2021-22. fiinews.com
