Rs.600 crore stretch between Obedullaganj to Itarsi completed
Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari has conveyed his heartiest congratulations to team of engineers, officers and workers NHAI and Maha Metro on achieving the Guinness Book of World Record in Nagpur by constructing longest Double Decker Viaduct.
Gadkari said the 3.14-km Highway Flyover and Metro Rail supported on single column has already bagged records from Asia Book and India Book.
“Now receiving this eminent award is indeed a proud moment for us,” the Minister said in a series of tweets on 5 Dec 2022.
Gadkari said such development is the fulfilment of building World Class Infrastructure.
Gadkari also updated on the completion of a Rs.600 crore stretch between Obedullaganj to Itarsi, a section of NH-69 that has been constructed and upgraded under NHDP Phase-3 in the state of Madhya Pradesh.
The 46-km National Highway stretch connects the capital city of Bhopal with Narmadapuram and Itarsi. fiinews.com
