Plant to be completed in 24 months
Steel Minister Ram Chandra Prasad Singh has laid the foundation stone for Coke Oven Plant Kudremukh Iron Ore Co Ltd (KIOCL) at Panambur Mangalore on 20 Feb 2022.
The Rs.836.90 crore project is designed for a 2.0 LTPA Ductile Iron Spun Pipe Plant under forward and a 1.80 LTPA Coke Oven Plant under backward integration at the mill’s Blast Furnace Unit.
He noted that the project would be completed in 24 months from the date of placement of order on the main technological package supplier.
