Defence technology discussed in Delhi
Top officials from India and the US have identified priority Near-Term projects for joint development between their respective agencies.
Announcing this after the India-USA 2+2 Meeting in New Delhi on 27 October 2020, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said the priority projects need to be fast tracked under the Defence Technology and Trade Initiative.
Both sides also resolved to work together in Defence R&D more efficiently.
“Defence Innovation field has been growing consistently in our discussions in recent years,” he added.
The meeting was attended by visiting Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Defence Secretary Mark Esper was well as the External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar. #innovation #technology #projects #defence /fiinews.com
