MD-CEO with 26 years’ experience

Sunil Alaric D’Souza has been appointed Managing Director and CEO of the Tata Global Beverages Ltd (TGBL), assuming the role with effect from 4 April 2020.

Sunil D’Souza, currently the Managing Director of Whirlpool of India Ltd,
takes over from Ajoy Misra who is retiring, announced Tata on 20 Dec 2019.

His past four years at the helm of Whirlpool India has helped deliver strong growth and industry leading financial returns.

Prior to his leadership stint at Whirlpool India, D’Souza has served in several leadership roles in Pepsico over 15 years handling all commercial aspects of foods and beverages portfolio. He had led the business successfully in a large cluster of Asian countries.

D’Souza began his career at Brooke Bond Lipton India Ltd in 1993. He has 26 years of rich and varied experience in the consumer goods industry, as well as in-depth understanding of the foods and beverages categories.

He brings to bear strong focus on strategy, growth and execution, including inorganic growth, all of which will be important to TGBL as it prepares to enter a new phase of growth and transformation. fiinews.com
