Startup automating manual processes
Three Indian students, doing Global Master of Business Administration at the S P Jain School of Global Management in Singapore, have jointly won the Flywire Challenge, a payment transaction group which mentors startup ideas.
Akshay Gupta, Vinayak RD, and Sachin Sanjeev, who are from India, received the award for their startup idea.
The trio received cash prize of SGD10,000 for their project about automating the process of medical claims, said S P Jain in a statement on 22 Aug 2018.
The automating of these usually-manual processes helps both patients and healthcare professionals, it said.
The award also includes free working space at SP Jain’s Singapore campus, as well as Flywire mentorship for their start up idea.
Jointly organized by Flywire and S P Jain, the Flywire Challenge seeks to demonstrate how the collaboration between FinTech and educational institutions can power a new generation of entrepreneurs.
The challenge attracted over 20 entries from universities in Singapore.
