To focus on automotive, aerospace industries and medical devices.

Enventive Engineering is a software specialist in mechanical engineering design that seamlessly combines force, tolerance and variational analysis with conceptual design, performance modeling, and design optimization, and has robust expansion plans in India.

Having established two centers in Chennai and Delhi, the company is now exploring opportunities in the Indian aerospace, automotive sector and medical devices.

“We see a lot of potential in the Indian market. It is time to expand our footprint” said Alan Smith, Enventive’s Director for New and Emerging markets. “We have discussed with some new prospects about expanding into the Indian aerospace market,” said Smith at the Farnborough Air Show.

India is turning into a global hub for design and manufacturing parts of aerospace and automotive industries. Enventive will support this growing segment of the industry with its design capabilities. “Our current aerospace clients design complex mechanism for door locking, landing gear and braking mechanisms” stressed Smith.

Enventive is also looking at collaborations with Indian universities to train students in designing complex parts of the aerospace and automotive industries, according to Smith.

He explained Enventive’s expertise which would fit perfectly into the “Make in India” initiative.

Enventive Concept takes force and tolerance analysis of mechanical engineering designs to another level by making analysis the cornerstone of a more effective and efficient design cycle. He pointed out that they have clients that after release to manufacture have no change requests.

Rather than relegating tolerance analysis to an isolated task performed in the late stages of product development, Enventive takes a holistic approach to mechanical engineering design. It seamlessly combines force, tolerance and variational analysis with conceptual design, performance modeling, and design optimization.

Enventive Concept’s tolerance analysis can be performed in a fraction of the time required in competing products. It is based on a very powerful variational simultaneous equation solver, which is used for driving the functional design definition, assisting engineers to make the correct decisions on materials, manufacturing process, datums and tolerances. Rather than leaving it up to the CAD system (or an inexperienced engineer) to make an incorrect decision on these fundamental requirements.

While many analysis tools are geared toward specialists and require weeks of training and months—or even years—of use to achieve proficiency, Enventive software is quick to learn and easy to use.

Enventive Concept makes performing tolerance analysis vastly more intuitive and helps users identify dimensioning schemes that are truly functional, saving many prototypes and clearly vastly improving time to market. said Smith. fiinews.com
