SPVs to be given land or capital
Detailed Project Reports are in progress for Intermodal Stations in 15 cities, with Nagpur and Varanasi as pilot cities for development.
The others are: Delhi, Jaipur, Mumbai, Pune, Bangaluru, Madurai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Amaravati, Vishakapatnam, Bhubaneshwar, Kolkata and Guwahati, said Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways Mansukh Lal Mandavia in a written reply to parliament on 15 Mar 2018.
Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) are to be established between Road Transport and Highways Ministry, Railways Ministry and respective State Governments.
SPV Members will be provide land or paid up capital as equity in the vehicle to develop the stations. fii-news.com
