Most contracts on EPC mode
Road Transport and Highways Ministry has approved a number of road/national highway projects in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.
The five road rehabilitation projects in Uttar Pradesh are:
The existing road on NH 29E from Sonauli to Gorakhpur and from Jungle Kaudia to Mohaddipur will be upgraded to be converted to four lane under EPC mode. The 17.52-kms project will cost of Rs. 288.30 crore.
Rehabilitation and upgradation of existing pavement to two lanes with paved shoulders on NH 730 on Kaptanganj to Padrauna section and a four lane ROB with service roads in Kushinagar district on EPC mode. The 27.75-km project will cost Rs.263.879 crore.
Rehabilitation and upgradation of existing pavement to two lanes with paved shoulders on NH 730 on Balrampur to Tulsipur section and a two lane ROB with service roads in Balrampur district on EPC mode. The 27.255-km project will cost Rs.212.99 crore.
Rehabilitation and upgradation of existing pavement to four lanes with paved shoulders on NH 96 on Allahabad bypass road junction to Allahabad city section on EPC mode. The 17.03-km project will cost Rs.306.59 crore.
Rehabilitation and upgradation of existing pavement to two lanes with paved shoulders on NH 730 on Ramnagar to SiswaBabu section with service roads on EPC mode. The 21.12-km project will cost Rs.185.18 crore.
Madhya Pradesh:
These seven projects will be completed in 18 months, and shall include maintenance for 48 months.
Balance rehabilitation and upgrade to two lane with paved shoulders flexible pavement of Bameetha-Satna section of NH-75 with total length 97.840 km on EPC Mode will cost Rs.191.21 crore.
Rehabilitation and upgrade to two lane with paved shoulders of Morena-Ambah-Porsa section of NH-552 extension on EPC Mode will cost Rs.166.21 crore. It will consist of two major and a minor bridge.
Rehabilitation and upgrade to two lane with paved shoulders of Porsa-Ater-Bhind section of NH-552 extension of 46.9-km on EPC Mode will cost of Rs.217.22 crore. It will consist of construction of two major bridges, and widening of five minor bridges.
Rehabilitation and upgrade to two lane with paved shoulders of Mihona-Lahar-Daboh section of NH-552 extension of 27.36-km on EPC Mode will cost Rs.133.18 crore. It will consist of construction of a major bridge, and widening of three minor bridges.
Rehabilitation and upgradate to two lane with paved shoulders of Daboh-Bhander-UP Border section of NH-552 with total length of 43.255-kms on EPC Mode will be completed in 18 months at a cost of Rs.233.04 crore. It will consist of construction of three major bridges, and widening of four minor bridges.
Rehabilitation and upgrade to two lane with paved shoulders of Reva-Sirmour section of NH-135B with total length of 36.71-km on EPC Mode will cost Rs.162.56 crore.
Rehabilitation and upgrade to two lane with paved shoulders of Pawai-Saleha-Jaso-Nagod section of NH-943 with total length of 50.88-km on EPC Mode will cost of Rs.214.69 crore.
Tamil Nadu:
The existing two lane road on NH 234 (Gudiathan bypass and Vellore bypass) will be provided with 1.5 m paved shoulder under EPC mode. The 49.35-km project will cost Rs.138.06 crore.
The existing two lane road on NH 383 (Dindigul – Natham section) will be provided with paved shoulder under EPC mode. The 38-km project will cost Rs. 240.38 crore. fii-news.com
