Odisha and Gujarat awards water contracts

L&T Construction has wn and Engneering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) order for ‘Integrated Infrastructure package of the ABD area of Udaipur City’.

The Rs.1,058 crore order is from Udaipur Smart City Limited. It is the first of its kind brownfield project for the development of smart infrastructure in the city.

The scope of work includes design, rehabilitation & upgradation of 24×7 water supply network including a Water Treatment Plant, Sewerage Network, Power Distribution Network including underground cables for power & telecom, relaying of roads, storm water drains, utility ducts and other allied instrumentation works.

Another order has been secured from the Rural Water Supply and Sanitation for providing water supply to Narasingpur, Badampa, Balikuda, Erasma and Naugaon blocks of Cuttack and Jagatsinghpur districts in Odisha.

The scope of work includes engineering, procurement, construction & commissioning of Intake Wells, Water Treatment Plants with a cumulative capacity of over 46 MLD, Clear Water Reservoirs, Intermediate Booster Pumping Stations, Over Head Service Reservoirs, laying of Ductile Iron & HDPE Pipeline, and other allied Electromechanical & Instrumentation works.

The Dholera Industrial City Development Limited has also awarded the work for design & construction of Industrial Effluent Pumping Stations, Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP), Master Balancing Reservoir – Recycled Water and Pumping Station at Dholera, Gujarat.

The group’s Buildings & Factories Business has secured an order worth Rs.535 Crore.

A prestigious order is received from a reputed IT major for construction of an IT park in Hyderabad.

The scope of the project includes construction of four office towers with connected corridors and a common three-level basement parking, to be completed in stringent timelines.
