5750 km of State Roads to be upgraded to National Highways (NHs)

The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has given “In-Principle” approval for about 57,50 km of State Roads as new National Highways (NHs) based on Detailed Project Reports (DPRs).

About 5,575 km of NHs have been identified for upgrading to 4- and 6-lane standards by the #National Highway Authority of India.

DPRs are being prepared, #Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways Pon. Radhakrishnan in written reply to a question in #Lok Sabha on 23 March 2017. fii-news.com
