Longchamp’s Delhi debut
French luxury leather goods brand Longchamp will debut in New Delhi this week with products like Le Pliage Heritage, Penelope, Roaseau and Le Pliage Cuir bags along with other accessories.
It has given master franchise rights for India to DOIT Retail Brands.
Longchamp’s products are universal, simple and sophisticated and cater to a wide audience. “The brand has maintained its luxury values of craftsmanship, creativity and quality,” said Radha Kapoor, founder and director of DOIT Retail Brands.
Founded in Paris in 1948 by Jean Cassegrain and now owned run by the Cassegrain family,
It starts with Delhi and then Mumbai, followed by other locations like Chennai and Bengaluru going forward, according to Kapoor.
Longchamp owns more than 300 exclusive stores globally and retails from another 1500 points of sales. fii-news.com
