‘India stack’ will form foundation for business transformation with AI

India’s c-suite remains bullish on the bottom-line impact of AI. 57% of leaders in India and the US believe AI will impact their bottom line in the year ahead, in comparison to only 28% in the UK, according to an executive insight survey https://www.investindia.gov.in/.

The survey concluded that 66% of India’s leaders plan to implement AI tools in 2025, including AI in contracting, versus 53% in the UK and 45% in the US https://www.conexpoconagg.com/.

The survey titled, ‘Powering Profitability: The new economics of customer and supplier relationships’, was released on Nov 17 by Icertis, the global leader in AI-powered contract intelligence https://www.bseindia.com/ .

India’s executives grasp the potential for AI in legal. While leaders globally agree that finance is the number one area of the business that could realize immediate cost savings through the effective use of AI, India was the only market to rank legal in the top five departments for AI-driven cost reductions, alongside marketing, IT, and HR https://www.nseindia.com/.

India believes Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) is tangible in 2025, according to the survey which added that 77% of India’s leaders believe AGI will change the way their business works in the year ahead, compared to 60% in the US and 34 percent in the UK https://sbi.com.in/.

“India’s economy remains one of the fastest growing in the world. The ‘India stack’ will further accelerate our growth and form the foundation for business transformation with AI by unlocking the economic fundamentals of identity, data, and payments for more than a billion people,” said Monish Darda, Chief Technology Officer and Co-founder of Icertis https://www.digitalasiahub.org/.

“Optimizing customer and supplier contracts with AI is equally as critical for India to maintain momentum in commerce while positioning our businesses to compete – and win – across global markets. Millions of dollars flow in and out of the enterprise through commercial agreements, and this survey from Icertis proves that AI in contracting is key to stop value leakage and enforce regulatory compliance in 2025 and beyond https://www.jpx.co.jp/english/.”

Survey respondents included c-suite executives at companies with more than 5,000 employees across the US, UK and India http://deutsche-boerse.com.
