Proper charging infra key to EV availability in India
Ahmedabad-based Tirex Transmission Pvt Ltd, one of the pathfinders in the EV charging industry in India since 2017, will supply 25 DC fast chargers of various capacities with connecter CCS2 to be installed retail outlets of the Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) as it builds charging network for future of Electric Vehicles.
The chargers will be compatible with most new-age electric vehicles available in India, said Tirex on 7 Nov 2022.
“Proper charging infrastructure is the key factor in deciding the future of EVs in India,” said the company.
Tirex has supplied EV chargers to organizations like NTPC, KSEBL, Power Grid, Ashok Leyland, Fortum, Olectra and Adani.
Commenting on the latest deal, Tirex CEO Arth Patel said his company will reach 30 MW worth of charger supply PAN-India by bagging IOCL contract. fiinews.com
