Modi urges youth to take advantage of Govt investments
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said preparation are underway to launch 6G by end of this decade, while his government is investing in new sectors, calling on the country’s youth to take advantage of the opportunities created.
Addressing the Grand Finale of Smart India Hackathon 2022 on Aug 25, he said, “By the end of this decade, we are preparing to launch 6G. The government is also encouraging Indian solutions in gaming and entertainment.
“The government is investing in all these new sectors and all of you youth must take advantage of it.”
Today, optical fiber is being laid in every village at a fast pace and 5G is being launched across the country, he pointed out.
He reminded the Hackathon participants of the opportunities globally.
Modi underlined, “India’s innovations provide the most competitive, affordable, sustainable, secure and large-scale implementation solutions in the world. That’s why the world’s hopes are from India, from youth like you.”
He pointed out the limits elsewhere in the world on opportunities for innovation and start-ups to deal with global problems. fiinews.com
