The US-based HealthEdge has opened a new office on 12 Oct 2021 in Hinjewadi, the IT heart of Pune, with the intent to create as many as 150 new jobs in the area over the next two years, doubling its current India workforce. Recruitment is now underway.
The world-class facility in Pune will operate as an India Operations delivery center, said HealthEdge, a software company, leading the industry with integrated financial, administrative, and clinical platforms for health insurers.The invitation-only Inauguration Event will be attended by a small number of in-person guests and will feature a livestream option for HealthEdge’s global community and media.
“We are excited and proud to be opening a state-of-the-art facility in Pune,” said Shivi Mithal, HealthEdge Vice President and Head of the India Delivery Center. “Setting up a HIPAA-compliant delivery center allows us to provide broader services and support to our U.S.-based customers. This capability will optimize customer value and satisfaction.”
The Pune center expands HealthEdge’s presence beyond Bangalore and Hyderabad and is actively recruiting staff in engineering, technical operations, dev-ops, and support.
HealthEdge has a global footprint of more than 1,200 employees and has won numerous awards as a top place to work in recent years.
The HealthEdge India operations center will house multiple teams in a green-certified facility spanning 4,500 square feet. It will serve a thriving business developing next-generation solutions for health insurance plans.
As a portfolio company of Blackstone, HealthEdge is well-positioned for success in the U.S. healthcare ecosystem. HealthEdge acquired Burgess and Altruista in 2020.
