Indian businesses feel IT complexity
Slower-pace digital transformation and cloud adoption among Indian businesses is due to confusion caused by the complexity around the IT environment, said an industry study by a US-based desktop virtualization company.
A survey-based study, between 23 July and 31 Aug 2018, found a strong correlation between the increasing levels of complexity felt within oranizations and the delay of digital transformation maturity, said Makarand Joshi, Area Vice President and Country Head for India at Citrix.
“The future has never looked more complex. IT leaders are being asked not only to deliver IT services, but also to improve business outcomes,” said Joshi in a statement on 10 Dec 2018.
Some 40% of the Indian businesses believe their IT environment are significantly more complex than two years ago, he pointed out.
The survey covered 1,764 business and technology decision makers in the Asia Pacific region and Japan. fiinews.com
