Ambassador and Business Delegation with the President of Timor Leste.

 

India has offered to Timor Leste training of medical and para medical personnel through deputation of experts and assistance and establishment of medical facilities.

New Delhi will also supply cost effective generic drugs and provide affordable medical treatment facilities for Timorese nationals in India.

The offer was made by the Indian Ambassador to Indonesia, Pradeep Kumar Rawat, who visited Dili 20-22 Aug 2018.

Rawat held a wide range of discussions with Timor Leste President Dr Francisco Guterres Lu Olo, and Prime Minister Taur Matan Ruak during the visit.

The discussions included the possibility of early entry of Timor Leste into the International Solar Alliance and establishing of Timor Leste embassy in New Delhi. fiinews.com
