STL’s sensors

Germany’s #STL Systems AG has installed a series of its sensors offshore and onshore India for the naval forces application.

“Our measurement systems are used for gathering and analyzing signals,” said Sezgin Kama, sales manager at STL Systems.

The sensors measure magnetic, acoustic and electrical signals and temperature underwater, he elaborated on the technology based solutions widely used by the German navy.

“India for us is a big market. We know the high potential and we already working with two companies on projects for defence areas,” he said.

“All signals are very important for submarines and surface vessels,” he explained at the MilSim, an exhibition on military systems held in Singapore Jan 17-18, 2017.

These measurement signals are also used for managing harbor and coastal waters. Underwater installation of these systems create security belts for these areas, he said. fii-news.com
